About Us

We enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do.

The First Tee of Troup County, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, became a The First Tee Chapter in December 2005. The First Tee of Troup County’s goal is to impact the lives of young people from every walk of life by providing them with golf learning facilities and educational programs that they will be able to use for a lifetime.

The First Tee of Troup County Learning Center provides a place where children ages 5-18 can come to learn and play the game of golf along with learning valuable life skills that can be used for a lifetime.
